Supporting Our Community

Tropical Foods commits almost 2.5% of net profits to supporting more than 50 worthy causes in the Roxbury area each year. We have maintained a policy of supporting:

  • Roxbury
  • Children
  • The hungry

Please keep in mind that while we will consider new requests, we must do so in a way that does not affect our support for those whom we currently support.

Here are just a few of the recent causes Tropical Foods has supported:

  • Boston Partners in Education
  • Discover Roxbury
  • The Timilty Middle School

  • Roxbury Boys & Girls' Club

"Tropical Foods has supported the Yawkey Club of Roxbury for the past four years, enabling us to continue to provide quality afterschool and summer programs to over 1,000 members between the age of 6 and 18. I want to personally thank Tropical Foods and Ronn Gary Jr., for being an ambassador and leader, ensuring that children and teens have a safe haven filled with hope and opportunity in the Dudley Square neighborhood."
